“Orgoglioso” pecorino cheese is a raw paste Sardinian pecorino made with pasteurized sheep’s milk. Fattorie Gennargentu actually produces its selection of pecorini, using milk from flocks raised in the wild, in mountain pastures. These are the ideal conditions that allows cheesemakers to create a selection of pecorini with a unique and authentic character. This pecorino in particular has an aromatic and balanced taste which defines its proud character. The Italian name “Orgoglioso” actually means “Proud”.
Tips to taste “Orgoglioso” pecorino cheese
Try “Orgoglioso” with a drop of a sweet jam or with some honey. They will both enhance all its flavors. Being a seasoned pecorino cheese, you can easily grate it over pasta, to add a special final touch. In addition, you can also use this pecorino to fill fresh pasta, such as ravioli, or to add even more flavors to your lasagne. Of course, you can also simply serve it as a table cheese.

Pasteurized sheep’s milk, salt, rennet, selected lactic ferments. Glazing agents: preservative E235, colors E150d – E160b. Inedible crust. Does not contain GMOs.
